Discover the Barbara window on site in the neighbourhood - in AR. Here you can experience how Barbara holds her protective hand over everything that has made Schalke great.
Go to the left outside of the church and look for the ball with the number 11. Stand on the footprints and tap on "Start AR".

Start ARSt Barbara is a cult figure in the Ruhr region. In the 1950s, miners from Upper Silesia brought her back to the Ruhr (click here for the story). She also quickly became popular here in Schalke.
The Barbara window shows the importance of underground labour, the Maloche, for Schalke. But of course football was and is also an important pillar of Schalke life. It has found its place opposite in the window of St Aloisius. Tap on the button "To the Aloisius window" below and bring it to life in AR.
